The Time-Varying HRV Analytics service seamlessly integrates Kubios’ gold-standard HRV analysis algorithms into your application. This service is designed to analyze longer-term HRV recordings, providing a comprehensive set of metrics to help users monitor stress, recovery, and overall well-being throughout daily activities, work, leisure, or sleep.
About Kubios Time-Varying HRV Analytics
This analytics endpoint is specifically tailored for longer-term HRV recordings (up to 24 hours), delivering precise time-based trends across multiple HRV parameters.
- About HRV: Heart rate variability is a reliable non-invasive tool for assessing autonomic nervous system function, making it ideal for evaluating physiological stress and recovery across different settings.
- Validated Algorithms: Kubios’ HRV algorithms are scientifically validated and trusted by professionals worldwide. Used by over 1,800 universities across 149 countries, they bring accurate, trusted HRV insights to your app.
- Reliable and Easy to Integrate: Kubios’ analysis services run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and use a RESTful API architecture for seamless integration.
Key Features
With advanced pre-processing and time-dependent HRV metrics, this service provides comprehensive insights into stress, recovery, and well-being over extended periods.
- Accurate Pre-processing: Advanced noise detection, beat correction, and detrending algorithms ensure high-quality HRV data.
- PNS and SNS Indexes: PNS and SNS indexes are proprietary indexes for assessing parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system activity, ideal for evaluating stress and recovery.
- Time-domain HRV Parameters: Includes metrics like Mean RR, Mean HR, min/max HR, SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50, and Baevsky’s stress index.
- Frequency-domain HRV Parameters: LF (0.04-0.15 Hz) and HF (0.15-0.4 Hz) spectral powers in absolute (ms2) and normalized units (n.u.), along with LF/HF ratio, calculated using short-time Fourier transform.
- Nonlinear HRV Parameters: Includes Poincaré plot indices (SD1 for beat-to-beat variability, SD2 for overall variability) to assess dynamic HRV changes.
- Respiration rate (RESP), estimated directly from HRV data via a validated algorithm (see validation paper).
